Market hall
Defining the spaces.
Workshop, supervised by Swedish architect Johan Celsing, to expand the existing market hall in Lund, Sweden, and create space for restaurants and take-aways. I organised the circulation of the market hall around a new courtyard, and added a restaurant area facing west, leaving some open space with the possibility of terraces facing the sun. In addition, I chose to place a large residential building to weave the project into its urban context and provide an enclosure for the restaurant area square.
