Bow Wow workshop
First concept model showing one of the walls.
Based on our wall-concept, the last step in the workshop was to draw a small house with a garden. I designed a dwelling divided into two parts. A winter dwelling, placed attached to the brick wall, using its warming abilities with the sun warming it up from the south. On the outside the summer part, an open wood construction, making the building work with the seasons, growing and opening up in summertime and closing up and keeping warm in the wintertime. The whole house was elevated from the ground to be ready for the annual small water flooding in this area. In the project I made a small study in horizontal vs vertical windows. The horizontal, landscape windows towards the sea and the landscape, and the vertical windows placed to the sides, along the wall.
